On the night of 16th August, the 2nd Asian Youth Games opened in Nanjing. Invited by the organizing committee, Liu Jingmin, Vice Chairman of Education, Science, Culture, Public Health and Sports Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and Executive Vice Chairman of BODA, was present at the opening ceremony.

On the same day, Liu Jingmin, accompanied by Li Shu, executive major of the athletes’ village, visited the athletes’ village of the Asian Youth Games and talked with staffs and volunteers. Later, Liu wrote the “Wish for a great success of the Asian Youth Games, Nanjing” on visitors’ book.

On 17th August, Liu also watched the Group B competition of Women’s 48kg Weightlifting, and was taken a group photo with Ali Moradi, General Secretary of the Asian Weightlifting Federation.
