May 1 (www.njdaily.cn) On April 30 (Beijing time), the collection of the Olympic Flame for the 2nd Youth Olympic Games (Nanjing 2014) was held in Panathenaic Stadium, Greece.

At 4 p.m. (Beijing time) on April 30, the newly-elected High Priestess Katrina used a concave mirror to focus the sun’s rays and light the first torch with the Olympic Flame. Two young torchbearers chosen by the Hellenic Olympic Committee andtwo previously announced Nanjing youth athletes, Sun Ziyue and Jiang Fan,who will be representing China as torchbearers, relayed the flame in the Panathenaic Stadium. President of the Hellenic Olympic Committee Spyros Capralos lit the safety lantern.
