May 13 (Chicago Trubune) Russia has yet got a plan how to reuse the large Olympic venues after the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics so far.

The situations remain deteriorated; local governments have exempted the Olympic venues and hotels from property tax for the past two years.

An Olympic consultant told the Moscow Times that whichever state-financed or private-funded Olympic venues would never produce any benefits, so taxes can’t be levied. However, all these venues need the government subsidies.

Besides, Russia has spent more than US$51 billion to build the venues compliant with Olympic standards and a large number of railways and roads.
